Studio Shorimoma is a Berlin-based design studio founded by Moritz Stürmer. It specializes in contemporary interior design objects – with a focus on clear forms, high-quality materials, and sustainable production standards. Each piece is crafted in Berlin with special attention to detail, durability, and artisanal precision.

ABOUT MORITZ

Moritz Stürmer combines craftsmanship and design vision. His training as a carpenter laid the foundation for his creative aspirations. This was followed by an interdisciplinary design degree that combined technical precision with conceptual thinking. Before founding Studio Shorimoma, he gained experience as a designer and led the implementation of a wide variety of projects. Founding the studio was the logical step toward embodying a personal aesthetic with clear values.

WORKING METHODS & NETWORK

All designs are created in the Berlin studio – from the initial sketch to production, which, depending on the project, takes place in collaboration with local workshops and specialized producers. Sustainable materials and high-quality processes are used. Studio Shorimoma works closely with a creative network. This includes Hannah Norford and Carl Herkner in photography, as well as Milena, Kuba, and other collaborators from the fields of marketing, animation, and communications. This diverse collaboration continually expands the studio's perspective and creative depth.
